Job Summary

The Head of Security Operations is responsible for leading and managing the security operations team to ensure the safety and security of the organization’s assets, employees, and facilities. This role requires a highly experienced security professional with a strong background in security operations, risk management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

1. Security Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies, policies, and procedures to protect the organization’s assets and employees.
2. Security Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the security team, including monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, and managing security personnel.
3. Risk Management: Identify and assess potential security risks, and implement measures to mitigate them.
4. Incident Response: Develop and execute crisis management and emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and disaster recovery operations.
5. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of security personnel, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
6. Collaboration and Communication: Work with other departments, such as HR, IT, and Facilities, to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of the organization.
7. Security Audits and Compliance: Conduct regular security audits to ensure compliance with security policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
8. Budgeting and Cost Management: Manage the security operations budget, including forecasting, budgeting, and cost control.
9. Going Concern: Manage sustainable, profitability of the organization by bringing in new Business, Retaining existing business, and optimizing costs.
10. Brand Protection: Manage the goodwill of the organization to the customers, society, and surrounding community; establish strong relationships with the community, staff, and our esteemed customers.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as criminal justice, security management, or business administration.
• Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of experience in security management, with progressive advancement in security, life safety, or business continuity management.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CPP, or CISM, are preferred.

• Risk Analyses:  Experience with risk management, vulnerability management, and incident response
